May Our Homes Be Enlıghtened By The Qur’an

Honorable Muslims!

Our children who open their eyes to the world in a spotlessly clean natural disposition are the rare entrustment of our Lord (swt) to us.  They are the most lovely blessing of our lives, and the most valuable adornment of our homes. They are the divine blessing of our lives, and the joy of our hearts.

They are our future and our windows of prayer opening to al-Rahman. It is our most fundamental responsibility to raise them as good individuals and Muslims, as well as feeding them with halal earnings and teaching them about the truth. It is our top priority duty to instill the love of Allah and the Prophet in their hearts, and help them develop their fresh minds with beneficial knowledge and good morals. In this respect, the Prophet Muhammad (saw) said in one occasion, "There is no gift that a father gives his child more virtuous than good manners."[1]

Dear Believers!

Our children have recently completed another school year. Our mosques used to be turned into a hub of education and become joyous with the voice of our children ever summer. This summer we will host the Summer Qur'an Courses at our homes.

Dear Muslims!

The Summer Qur'an Courses will enable our children to know more about Allah (swt), to recite the Holy Qur'an and enter into its world of meaning. They will learn about the principles of faith and worship, and the exemplary life of the Prophet Muhammad (saw). They will comprehend the importance of being a servant of Allah useful to our homeland, nation, and all humanity.

Dear Believers!

Allah the Almighty states in the Holy Qur'an, "Alif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that you might bring mankind out of darknesses into the light by permission of their Lord - to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy."[2]

Then let us prosper our lives with the Qur'an that adds relief to our hearts and barakah to all our endeavors. Let us mobilize ourselves to imprint faith, Islam, and good morals on the fresh minds and spotlessly clean natural dispositions of our children. Let us not cause them to be deprived of the light of the Qur'an and the guidance of the authentic religious knowledge.
